My Timesheets

To view your timesheets click on My Timesheets under the My Tasks menu option.

You will be taken to the My Timesheets page where you can select any one of your timesheets, by clicking on the specific timesheet.

New Timesheet

To create a new timesheet click on the New Timesheet button from the left-hand side menu. This will create a new timesheet with the date following your last timesheet.

 

Completing your Timesheet

In order to create a new timesheet line start filling in the fields of the empty row at the top of the Chargeable or Non-Chargeable Time. You need to select the Job Number and Client Name (both populated from Oasys WinCost) of the time spend and select the Phase Code whose dropdown list will be pre-populated according to the Job Number/Client Name you have selected. You should also complete the Description of the time spend, or leave the default Description of the Phase Code you have selected and enter the units of the time spend on each day. Please note that the time equivalent of the unit depends on your company's policies.

You can add a new line by clicking the addexpenses button or you can delete an existing line by selecting the checkbox on the right and clicking on the deletelines button.

 

You can enter any expenses that you would like to claim in your timesheet by selecting the My Out-of-pocket Expenses tab. Expenses details are completed in the same way as chargeable and non-chargeable lines.

You may also upload Attachments for your out-of-pocket expenses. In order to do this, you may use the upload facility shown below, where you can also preview and delete your attachments.

Approvers

In the approvers section you may view and edit (if applicable) the approvers of your timesheet. According to the settings of your company, the approvers might be preset or you might need to complete them yourself. If any preset approvers are wrong please contact your HR Department.

 

Timesheet Menu

The following options are available from the timesheet menu:

 

Save Timesheet:

Saves the current timesheet and any changes made.

Delete Timesheet:

Deletes the current timesheet. Any details that have been completed will be lost.

Submit Timesheet:

Submits the current timesheet. Once submitted the timesheet can no longer be edited.

Copy Timesheet:

Copies an entire timesheet that the user selects.

Copy Lines:

Copies specific lines from previous timesheets.

Print Timesheet:

Prints the current timesheet. Any unsaved changes will not appear in the printed document.

New Timesheet:

Leaves the current timesheet and creates a new timesheet.

Clear Empty Lines:

Deletes any lines in the current timesheet that have 0 units for all days.

Back:

Takes the user back to the My Timesheets page.

 

Restore Utility

If applicable to your system, you may see a restore utility in the "My Timesheets" page. You may select any deleted timesheet and restore it in the state it was at the time it was deleted, provided that the same timesheet (same year,month,period) does not exist.
